Post Capricon

It’s already been a week since Capricon! I met so many wonderful people & got to catch up with old friends. I also got the amazing opportunity to work with Artist Guest of Honor Gene Ha (https://www.geneha.com/) for a panel.

The panel was called Bringing Characters to Life, and Gene worked with me to draw my character Ainhmí from my soon-to-be-queried novel — and was kind enough to let me share it here! The novel is a gothic fantasy using multiple fairytale retellings, and Ainhmí is the Beast. He is a chimera of the four creatures found on his cloak: bear, boar, fox, and man. I couldn’t be happier with how he turned out!
